What Penny does
Four jobs. One assistant.
Answers your calls.
Penny has her own Australian mobile number. When you are on the other line, in a meeting, or out of hours, she takes the call. She listens, she qualifies, she books the meeting, and she texts you the recap. Your callers get a real conversation, not voicemail.
Runs your calendar.
"Penny, am I free Thursday afternoon?" gets a real answer. She books, reschedules, sets buffers, and keeps your Google or Microsoft calendar in sync — two-way, no copy-pasting.
Triages your inbox.
Drafts replies in your tone. Flags what is urgent. Surfaces threads that have been waiting too long. By the time you sit down, the noise is gone and the important three are pinned.
Manages your tasks.
"Remind me to follow up with Sarah Friday." Done. Recurring tasks, subtasks, due dates, gentle nudges — captured in conversation, surfaced when they matter.
How it works
Set up in an afternoon. Working by Monday.
01
Connect.
Sign up, plug in your email and calendar (Google or Microsoft), and Penny gets her own Twilio number in your area code. Takes about thirty minutes. No IT team.
02
Brief her.
Set her hours. Tell her your tone of voice. Show her which calls to answer, which kinds of meetings to book, and which replies she can send without checking. She remembers everything.
03
Let her run.
From the next inbound call onwards, she is on the job. You stay in control — she never sends anything sensitive without your nod. You get a text summary after every call.
Real scenarios
What it looks like in practice.
The 4:47pm missed call.
You are on the other line. A new lead calls. Penny picks up, takes their details, asks the right qualifying questions, books a fifteen-minute intro on Monday at 10. You see a text recap by 4:50. Without Penny: that lead called your competitor.
The Monday inbox.
Forty-seven unread. Penny has already been through them. The three that matter are pinned. Six have drafts waiting for your nod. The rest are filed. You are caught up before your coffee cools.
The schedule conflict.
Your 2pm wants to move to next week. You text Penny. She checks your calendar, your client’s availability, and sends them three new slots. Confirms the one they pick. Updates the meeting. You did not open the calendar app.
The follow-up you forgot.
It has been three days since you said you would send Sarah the proposal. Penny noticed. She drafted the email. It is sitting in your drafts. Send it or edit it — your call.

FAQ
Questions people actually ask about Penny.
- Is Penny an AI or a real person?
- Penny is an AI assistant — powered by Claude (Anthropic) for reasoning and ElevenLabs for voice. She sounds remarkably human on calls because she is genuinely good at conversation, not because there is a person behind her. If a caller asks whether they are speaking to an AI, she tells them.
- What phone number does Penny use?
- Penny gets her own Australian mobile number through Twilio, in the area code that suits you. Inbound and outbound calls and SMS are billed in fair, metered telephony bundles — see the pricing section on the homepage for the current plans.
- Can Penny take calls when I am overseas?
- Yes. She works around your timezone settings. If you are in London but your business is in Melbourne, Penny still answers Australian calls in your business hours and texts you summaries that arrive on your London afternoon.
- What happens to call recordings and transcripts?
- Every call is transcribed and stored in your stack workspace, scoped to your account only. We never train AI models on your data. You can delete recordings any time. Data is hosted in Australia.
- Does Penny ever send something I have not approved?
- By default, no. Penny drafts emails and replies — you approve before they send. You can grant her autosend on specific kinds of replies (for example, confirming meeting times) when you trust her with that pattern. You stay in control of the rules.
- How is Penny different from Siri or a generic AI chatbot?
- Penny knows your business. She reads your emails, your calendar, your contacts, your past calls. When she answers the phone, she knows who is calling and what you have spoken about before. That context is what makes her useful — and it is what generic assistants do not have.
