Delete your stack account

stack is built by ThinkSwift Pty Ltd in Australia. This page describes how to permanently delete your stack account and what we do with your data afterwards.

From inside the app (preferred)

  1. Open stack on iOS, Android, or the web at app.stackos.com.au.
  2. Sign in.
  3. Go to Settings → Profile.
  4. Scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom of the page.
  5. Tap Delete account.
  6. Type your email address in the confirmation box and tap Permanently delete my account.

Deletion is immediate. You will receive a confirmation email and be signed out on every device.

If you cannot access the app

Email hello@thinkswift.au from the email address on your stack account with the subject "Account deletion request".

We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 7 business days. We may ask one follow-up question to confirm identity if the request looks unusual (e.g. emailed from a different address than the account).

Recovering a deleted account

If you change your mind within 7 days of deletion, email hello@thinkswift.au from the same address. We can restore the workspace and reactivate your sign-in. After 7 days the auth credentials are gone and we cannot restore them — though you can sign up again with the same email and start a fresh workspace.
